I was upset to hear this, i heard it from one of my mates this morning. it was a bit of a shock as i hadn't heard alot after he went in so i kind of thought that he would pull through. It doesn't seem a second ago that i saw him unveil the 'I PAD'. It was a devastating loss of a man simply passionate about his work.

In other news today, the BBC are planning to cut 2,000 jobs!! by 2017. This has arisen as part of the price cuts affecting most companies in the economy at the moment. The BBC has had a budget cut of 20% and is planning to drastically change the programming schedule of most of their programs. The good side to this story is that BBC will be investing more money into there more attractive programs which means the quality of the product should improve. The downside to these cuts is that some channels will be distribute to other parts of the country, a certain Jeremy Clarkson has already had a go at the BBC for the move however on the grand scale of things Price cuts are only a minor issue for such a big company.

The story of the day is that the boards behind the 'beloved' G.C.S.E's are having talks about introducing the 'near miss' policy. This is the policy wereby any one who just missed a C grade on their maths or english papers, will have to re-take their exams again. This is a good idea but i don't see how anymore kids would be encouraged than before.
