" you can tell when a politician is lying...his mouth is open."
This has been an on-going story over the past week, an MP (Mr Liam fox) denied sharing any classified information with his roommate. At the time Mr wherrity, however, later revealed that his denial was untrue. Ontop of actually sharing briefings and secret information with wherrity, Mr Wherrity acted under the false title of advisor for Mr fox. I think it is not a huge surprise that the MP was lying as i'm sure they do it every day in some shape or form, the worrying side to this story is that Liam Fox was part of the Ministry of Defense. These are peole that are mant to be protecting our social security!

"Don't worry, cuz every little thing, is gunna be alright."
This is the news that our brains maybe more optimistic than most of us might think. Scientists believe the brain is more adept to processing positive information for the future, they did an experiment were by they asked 14 people on how likely they thought several different negative events were likely to happen in general, they were then asked to give a percentage of likeliness. Afterwards they were told to say how likely they thought these events were to happen in relation to them, there was a clear increase in the percentages of the first and second tests, meaning people were more optimistic when the problem related to them in particular. I like the idea that out brains are more optimistic however this research is pretty irrelevant if we don't act it on the out side.
*UPDATE* Recent MRI scans show that Optimisim may be a brain defect rather than something we have complete control over. We are wired to automatically act positively in our every day lives.

Tommie Rose has been suspended this week for trying to sell a load of sweets at school. He claims to have earnt £60 to £200 a day selling the confectionary and got his inspiration from shows like the apprentice. The main problem the teachers had with the entrepenuer is that he was breaching the school health and safety code, the school said that if Tom were to find a business idea that was in line with the schools rules and regulations they would be more than willing to support him. This is quite ammusing as its omething that some of my friends did when we were about his age-not on this scale but they would still be rather profitable. i say its not great for the schools code of practice, but the kid shouldn't stop he should just keep on seeling them after school.
